Sadie Crunk, LMSW

I'm Sadie, LMSW.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Michigan State University and my Master's Degree in Social Work from University of Michigan. I've spent my career doing crisis intervention in the community and as an Emergency Department clinician. I have worked with people at their most vulnerable moments. I am in awe over how resilient humans are.

Life is like a ball of yarn. It starts wrapped up nicely in a neat fashion. As time goes on it becomes tangled, knotted, and difficult to unravel. My goal as a therapist is to help you unravel those difficult emotions and encourage you when it seems like the knot will never come undone. I use body work, mindfulness, and person centered approaches in my practice. During sessions we may sit on the floor, move our bodies, grab a cozy blanket or have a warm cup of tea. My goal is to help you find a place of peace in life.

I am a blunt person who enjoys crocheting (see the yarn reference), doing yoga, cracking jokes, and paddleboarding. I have personal struggles with anxiety, depression, and panic disorder. I know therapy takes work. I aim to provide a safe atmosphere during sessions while encouraging you to do the hard stuff (yes, talking counts as the hard stuff!).

If you feel I am someone who can aid your mental health journey, I would love to hear from you.

Now booking clients ages 10 and up, male or female. Sadie is eager to help those struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, panic disorders, trauma, family conflict. Sadie is available Thursdays and every other Wednesday.
